Job Title: Purchasing Assistant Manager – Softline (Apparel & Golf Fashion) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year   Job Summary JKWG Golf is seeking a results-driven and strategic Purchasing Assistant Manager (Softline) to lead and oversee our entire procurement operation for softline categories, including golf apparel, footwear, headwear, and lifestyle accessories. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary purchasing lead—taking full ownership of buying strategies, vendor management, seasonal assortment planning, and inventory control. You will bridge fashion merchandising with commercial performance, shaping our softline product strategy to drive retail growth, customer engagement, and overall profitability across both physical stores and e-commerce platforms.   Key Responsibilities - Procurement Leadership &  Strategy: Lead the end-to-end purchasing function for all softline products; establish seasonal buying strategies, margin goals, and procurement guidelines aligned with corporate targets. - Assortment Planning & Merchandising: Curate and build high-performing seasonal collections by combining fashion trend forecasting, sales data analysis, and visual merchandising principles. - Vendor Management & Strategic Negotiation: Act as the main representative for supplier communications. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, minimum order quantities (MOQs), and exclusive distribution arrangements to maximize profitability. - Open-to-Buy (OTB) & Budget Management: Manage and allocate the purchasing budget, monitoring Open-to-Buy (OTB) metrics, gross margins, sell-through rates, and inventory turn to prevent overstocking or stockouts. - End-to-End Order Lifecycle Oversight: Supervise the purchase order (PO) process from vendor selection and order placement through delivery tracking, quality control, and invoice reconciliation. -Market &Competitor Intelligence: Stay ahead of golf fashion, activewear trends, and retail innovations to continuously elevate our product lineup and keep JKWG Golf competitive. - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with executive management, retail store leaders, and marketing teams to coordinate promotional campaigns, store displays, and e-commerce launch schedules. -Reporting & Performance Tracking: Prepare executive reports on supplier performance, purchasing metrics, cost variances, and sell-through efficiency to guide senior leadership decisions.   Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - 1+ years of proven experience in purchasing, apparel buying, or softline merchandising, with demonstrated experience leading procurement or inventory strategy. - Strong expertise in vendor negotiations, contract management, and Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning. -Deep knowledge of fashion trends, apparel production timelines, and retail merchandising in the golf, activewear, or consumer goods sectors. - Proficiency in MS Excel (data modeling, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and retail ERP/POS systems (e.g., Shopify). - Exceptional leadership, negotiation, analytical, and strategic decision-making skills. - Ability to work with high autonomy and handle end-to-end responsibilities in a fast-paced retail environment. -Fluent in Korean or Chinese is an asset     PLEASE SEND YOUR RESUME TO BRIAN.SUK@GREENTEEGOLFSHOP.COM
