Welcome to cankorjobs ("we", "our", "the Platform"). By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Purpose of the Platform
cankorjobs is an online job listing platform serving Korean communities in Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary. The Platform only provides job-related information and is not a party to any employment agreement.
2. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in Canada.
3. User Accounts
Certain features require account registration. Users are responsible for maintaining account security and accuracy.
4. Job Postings
Employers must provide accurate information and numeric wage details. Duplicate or misleading postings may be removed without notice.
5. Prohibited Content
Illegal jobs, false information, scams, or discriminatory content are prohibited.
5A. Intellectual Property and Data Ownership
While individual job postings may reference publicly available information, the Platform's curated database — including but not limited to normalized company names and branch designations, verified and enriched addresses, job categorization, regional mappings, and editorial corrections — constitutes proprietary work product of cankorjobs and is protected as a compilation. No part of this database may be reproduced, redistributed, or republished without prior written consent.
5B. Automated Access and Data Extraction
Any automated access to the Platform is prohibited, including but not limited to scraping, crawling, harvesting, or bulk extraction of content by any means (browser automation, HTTP clients, or direct API queries), except for search engine indexing in compliance with our robots.txt. Circumventing technical measures, rate limits, or access restrictions is prohibited. Violation may result in access termination and legal action.
6. Reports and Moderation
Reported content is reviewed by administrators and may be hidden or removed.
7. Disclaimer
We do not guarantee job placement or employment conditions. All hiring decisions are made solely between employers and job seekers.
8. Email Communications
By creating an account, you agree to receive service-related emails including weekly job digest, new job alerts, and platform updates. You may opt out of non-essential emails at any time through your Profile settings. Essential account-related emails (e.g., password reset, security alerts) cannot be opted out of.
9. Changes
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
