Bilingual Marketing Specialist

Location: Marshall Flower Garden
Position Type: Part-Time Marketing position
Starting Wage: Minimum wage during a 3-month probationary period. Wage/commission will be reviewed and negotiated based on performance after successful completion of probation.

We also offer a flexible remote work option for individuals who are motivated to generate sales and develop new business opportunities. This position is commission-based, with compensation directly tied to the sales and customers you bring to the business.

We are a locally owned flower shop passionate about creating beautiful floral arrangements for every occasion. In addition to fresh flowers, we offer wedding florals, specialty products, food items. We're looking for a creative, motivated Marketing Specialist to help grow our brand and connect with our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop partnerships to expand product awareness and generate sales.
• Engage with partners and prospective customers to promote our products.
• Manage and grow our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms as needed).
• Create engaging photo, video, and written content showcasing our flowers, bouquets, wedding services, food products, and seasonal promotions.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Promote wedding floral services and coordinate marketing content around weddings and special events.
• Market our food products (MJ health food) through social media, promotions, and in-store campaigns.
• Develop and promote collaborations with local businesses and community partners.
• Assist with advertising seasonal events, holidays, workshops, and sales promotions.
• Monitor social media performance and recommend ideas to improve reach and engagement.
• Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media in a professional and timely manner.
• Help maintain a consistent brand image across all marketing channels.

Qualifications

• Bilingual. Fluency in Korean and English is an asset.
• Experience with social media management and content creation.
• Strong photography and/or video editing skills are an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, organized, and able to work independently.
• Passion for flowers, design, food, or local businesses is an asset.
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar design/editing tools is preferred.
• Marketing education or relevant experience is an asset but not required.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred, as the role may require meeting with potential clients and partners to develop business partnerships.
