Company Introduction EXOD International is a growing K-Beauty distributor in North America, introducing high-quality Korean beauty brands to the market. As we continue to expand, we are hiring for Associate and Manager positions in Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance (RA/QA). We welcome candidates at different stages of their careers. Responsibilities and compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience. Associates will support day-to-day regulatory and quality operations, while Managers will take ownership of regulatory compliance, quality processes, and related decision-making. Key Responsibilities 1. Regulatory Affairs Review product information, ingredient lists, labels, packaging, and claims for compliance with applicable Canadian requirements. Prepare, organize, and maintain regulatory documents and product records. Coordinate Health Canada-related submissions, notifications, and supporting documentation as needed. Communicate with Korean partner brands and internal teams to obtain required information and resolve documentation issues. Monitor relevant regulatory updates and identify necessary product or process changes. 2. Quality Assurance & Documentation Maintain accurate and up-to-date product specifications, certificates, safety documents, and related records. Support the Quality Management System (QMS), including SOPs, compliance checklists, and document control. Track quality inquiries, complaints, and non-conformances, and support investigations and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with suppliers and internal teams. Support product onboarding and ensure required documentation and reviews are completed before launch. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with purchasing, operations, sales, and marketing teams to support compliant product launches and ongoing operations. Communicate regulatory requirements, required changes, and review timelines clearly to relevant teams. Support improvements to internal regulatory and quality workflows. Additional Responsibilities — Manager Lead EXOD’s regulatory and quality assurance operations, independently assessing requirements for cosmetics and applicable drug or Natural Health Product (NHP) categories. Establish and maintain the QMS, including SOPs, document control, and compliance standards. Lead quality investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA, including supplier follow-up and effectiveness reviews. Oversee regulatory and quality documentation for applicable licensing processes, audits, and inspections. Coordinate external consultants and service providers, guide Associate-level staff, and manage priorities and deadlines. Qualifications Requirements — All Applicants Legally eligible to work in Canada. Educational background in Life Science, Biology, Health Science, Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English are required. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Ability to manage multiple documents, tasks, and deadlines. Ability to collaborate with internal teams, Korean partner brands, and external stakeholders. Associate Position Relevant academic training or experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance, compliance, or technical documentation. Ability to review product information carefully and follow established procedures. Interest in developing expertise in Canadian cosmetics regulations and quality operations. Previous industry experience is preferred but not required. Manager Position At least 3 years of relevant regulatory affairs or quality assurance experience. Demonstrated experience with Canadian cosmetics regulations and label and claim reviews. Working knowledge of QMS, SOP development, quality investigations, and CAPA. Ability to independently resolve compliance issues and manage regulatory workflows with sound judgment and strong ownership. Preferred Qualifications Experience in cosmetics, beauty, health products, or consumer goods; drug or NHP regulatory and quality experience is particularly valued for Manager applicants. Familiarity with Canadian drug/NHP regulations, GMP, and applicable licensing requirements, including those relevant to DIN-authorized sunscreens. Experience working with Korean brands, suppliers, or manufacturers and coordinating with regulatory consultants, importers, or testing laboratories. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva for label and packaging review.
