About Canadian Bridge Canadian Bridge is a temporary staffing agency providing recruitment, staffing, payroll, HR, and compliance solutions to businesses. We help employers fino reliable workers while supporting employees throughout their placements. We are looking for a Bilingual Business Development & Recruitment Specialist - Korea to help us grow and support our Korean market. This role is ideal for someone who is confident in sales, strong with people, comfortable recruiting, and able to build trust with Korean business owners and employees. About the Role This is a full-desk role that combines business development, recruiting, and account management. You will be responsible for finding new Korean-owned or Korean-serving businesses, introducing them to our services, recruiting the right candidates for their needs, and maintaining strong relationships after placements are made. You will work closely with both clients and employees, helping solve issues, answering questions, and making sure our clients are satisfied with the service they receive. This role requires someone who is responsible, persuasive, resilient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. The position is mainly remote, but you may need to visit client locations when required and occasionally come to our North York office. Key Responsibilities * Identity and contact Korean-owned or Korean-serving businesses that may need staffing, recruitment, payroll, HR, or compliance support * Present Canadian Bridge's services clearly and professionally to prospective clients * Build strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers * Follow up with leads, handle objections, and work to close new business * Understand each client's staffing needs and find suitable candidates * Source candidates through Indeed, Linkedin, Korean online forums, community platforms, resume databases, and other online channels * Review resumes carefully and identify strong candidates * Interview, screen, and ask the right questions to determine if candidates are a good fit * Submit qualified candidates to clients and coordinate next steps * Attend first interviews with clients when needed * Maintain ongoing client relationships and check in regularly to ensure satisfaction * Support placed employees and help resolve work-related or pay-related concerns * Identify opportunities to provide additional services or fill more staffing needs * Research businesses, contacts, and opportunities online, including information that may not be easy to find * Represent Canadian Bridge professionally in all communication with clients, candidates, and employees Qualifications * Fluent in Korean and English, both spoken and written * Strong understanding of Korean culture, business etiquette, values, and communication style * Comfortable speaking with Korean business owners, including older Korean clients, and building trust with them * Previous experience in sales, business development, recruitment, human resources, staffing, or a related field * Confident with cold outreach, follow-ups, and persuasion * Able to handle rejection and continue working toward results without losing motivation * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Very tech-savvy and comfortable using online tools to find candidates, businesses, and contact information * Experience using platforms such as Indeed, Linkedin, online forums, and resume databases is an asset * Strong judgment when reviewing candidates and matching them to client needs * Able to work independently from home and manage your time responsibly * Calm, firm, and professional when dealing with pressure, complaints, or urgentissues * Additional languages are a strong asset Working Conditions This is a rewarding but demanding role. You will be dealing with business owners, employees, candidates, and urgent staffing needs. Rejection is a normal part of the sales process, and issues may come up outside regular working hours. The right person for this role will be able to stay calm, professional, and focused while managing multiple priorities. The role is primarily remote, with travel to client sites as needed and occasiona visits to our North York office.
